Prof. Dr. Masaany binti Mansor
Prof. Dr. Masaany Binti Mansor subspecializes in Laryngology Head Neck Surgery, is both a lecturer in the UiTM Medical Faculty and surgeon in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Hospital Al- Sultan Abdullah (UiTM) with a 25 year working experience. She obtained her Medical and ORL HNS Master’s degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. She completed her fellowship in Laryngology from Harvard University (USA), underwent her 3 year Laryngology Head Neck Surgery fellowship under the Ministry of Health Malaysia and did her Head Neck Surgery Fellowship in Yonsei University (South Korea). Referrals to Prof. Dr. Masaany can be made to both the ORL HNS Clinic and Executive Clinic of Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (UiTM), Puncak Alam.
Dr. Abdul Azim Al-Abrar Ahmad Kailani
Dr. Abdul Azim Al-Abrar bin Ahmad Kailani, a Clinical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at UiTM, is a highly qualified professional with a robust educational and clinical background. Graduating with an MBBCh from the University of Cairo in 2012 and completing his Masters in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery from Universiti Sains Malaysia with a Gold medalist award, he has built an impressive career. Dr. Abdul Azim has contributed to the field through multiple publications and research, particularly in vestibular disorders, and has been recognized with awards for his outstanding presentations in the field.
Dr. Tuang Geng Ju Eric
Dr. Tuang Geng Ju Eric, a distinguished Otorhinolaryngologist, brings a rich academic and clinical background to our online course. He earned his Doctor of Otorhinolaryngology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2022, after completing his medical degree at the International Medical University in 2013 and a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017. Dr. Tuang has an impressive history of administrative achievements, including organizing the first otology masterclass at Hospital Selayang in 2019. He has contributed significantly to medical literature with numerous publications, focusing on diverse aspects of Otorhinolaryngology. Dr. Nik Mohd Hazleigh Nik Hussin
Dr Nik Mohd Hazleigh is an Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgeon and lecturer at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM, Puncak Alam. He obtained his undergraduate medical degree with an intercalated bachelors degree in Anatomy from the University of Liverpool. Upon completion of his Foundation Programme in the Mersey Deanery, he started his ORL-HNS career path by undertaking Core Surgical Training in the Northwestern Deanery, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) and the Intercollegiate Diploma of Otorhinolaryngology (DO-HNS) in this period. He completed his training at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre and was awarded his postgraduate Doctor of Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Having already undergone subspecialist training in Neurotology & Lateral Skullbase Surgery at Hospital Sg Buloh and University Malaya Medical Centre, he has completed fellowship in this subspecialty at University Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre.
Cik Nursyaza Liyana
She is an Audiologist, graduate in Bachelor of Audiology (Honours) from International Islamic University Malaysia, has demonstrated extensive clinical expertise at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM and Manipal Hospital Klang. She is skilled in diagnostic hearing tests, electrophysiological assessments, and auditory rehabilitation, the audiologist excels in collaborating with otorhinolaryngologists and pediatricians. She was also recognized with a Rector List Award in 2018, the audiologist has also contributed to scientific conferences, showcasing dedication to the advancement of audiology.
Dr. Intan Kartika Kamaruddin
Dr Intan Kartika Kamarudin (MBBChBAO, Ireland, Dr ORL-HNS, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) is a Lecturer and Specialist of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She is currently working at the Hospital Al Sultan Abdullah UiTM, Puncak Alam, UiTM Medical Specialist Centre, Sungai Buloh and UiTM Private Specialist Centre Sungai Buloh. She obtained her undergraduate qualification in the year 2007 and her postgraduate qualification in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in the year 2015. She has a special interest in Audio-vestibular Disorder and has done a fellowship in vestibular disorder in Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2019. She obtained the Online International Vestibular Diploma in 2020 and second edition of the Online International Vestibular Diploma in 2021 from the Audiology- Vestibular International Science Academy (AVISA). She is currently undergoing subspecialty training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah,Kedah and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Dr. Syarifah Nafisah binti Syed Hamzah
Dr. Syarifah Nafisah Syed Hamzah is an Otorhinolaryngologist and an aspiring Laryngologist and Sleep Surgeon at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (UiTM). She obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from International Islamic University of Malaysia and Master’s Degree (DR ORL-HNS) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is currently under the mentorship of Professor Masaany Manasor for her laryngology subspecialty. She has an International Vestibular Diploma in 2021 from the Audiology-Vestibular International Science Academy (AVISA) and Vestibular Rehabilitation Certificate From American Institute of Balance in 2022. She did a mini-fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Sleep Surgery in Singapore in 2021. Dr. Norazila binti Abdul Rahim
Dr. Norazila binti Abdul Rahim is an Otorhinolaryngologist at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA) UiTM. She obtained her Undergraduate medical degree from University Colllege Dublin, Ireland (MB BCH BAO) and her Master’s Degree from University of Malaya (MSurg ORL HNS). She obtained her Clinical Fellowship in Laryngology, Voice and Sleep Apnoea from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Clinical Fellowship in Laryngology, Voice and Sleep and Swallowing Disorders from Centre Hospitalier De Luxembourg (CHL), Luxembourg. She is currently available at public clinic and Executive clinic at HASA UiTM for general otorhinolaryngology case and voice related pathology.
Dr. Azrina binti Ahmad @ Mohd
Dr. Azrina Ahmad is a Lecturer and ORL Specialist who received her undegradute degree, MD from UNIMAS in 2003 and postgraduate degree MSc ORL , H&N Surgery from University Malaya in 2010. She pursuit her subspecialty in Paediatric ORL by completing rotations in University Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Hospital Serdang. Following this, she continued her training in the United Kingdom where she became a Clinical ORL Fellow in one of the NHS Trusts and receives her second Masters in ORL from Edge Hill University, UK. She later completed her Fellowship in Paediatric ENT from Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool which is one of the biggest tertiary referral center in Europe in 2023.
Apart from seeing general ENT and paediatric ENT patients, she also takes part in hearing rehabilitation including cochlear implant and implantable hearing devices.Â
